More About The Doctor

Dr. Dustin DebRoy, D.C., is The Joint Chiropractic’s Manager of Education and Relations, supporting clinical education, provider engagement, and the consistency of care across the organization. In this role, he helps translate what matters most in real-world patient care into practical training, resources, and guidance that support doctors across The Joint’s nationwide network.

Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. DebRoy’s path into chiropractic started personally. When sports injuries sidelined him and other approaches weren‘t giving him the progress he wanted, chiropractic care helped him get moving again. That experience shaped his commitment to conservative care that supports how people live, work, and train, and it continues to influence how he approaches education today. His focus stays grounded in helping people move better, feel more capable in their bodies, and return to the activities they love.

Before stepping into his current leadership role, Dr. DebRoy built a strong practitioner foundation, treating a wide range of patients, from children to older adults, with an emphasis on functional movement and evidence-informed care as a chiropractor with The Joint Chiropractic. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in performance- and injury-focused care at Greenwich Sports Medicine, where he primarily worked with Olympic, professional, and collegiate athletes, as well as active individuals. His focus was on helping patients navigate training demands, recovery, and injury prevention. Across his clinical work, he became known for combining hands-on care with practical movement strategies that fit real life.

He has completed more than 300 hours of advanced training focused on injury treatment and prevention, and holds certifications in musculoskeletal acupuncture from the National University of Health Sciences and in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. He also continues advanced training in the McKenzie Method, a conservative approach commonly used for disc-related conditions. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Central Michigan University, adding a valuable lens on performance, recovery, and sustainable health habits.

Dr. DebRoy is also a trusted expert voice for The Joint, regularly interviewed and quoted in numerous news articles and publications, where he shares practical guidance on topics like chronic pain, posture, and training modifications. Today, his work sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and education leadership, helping ensure doctors across The Joint have the tools, training, and support to deliver confident, consistent care.

When he is not working on clinical education initiatives, Dr. DebRoy enjoys weight training and exploring local restaurants and coffee shops with his wife, his daughter, and his dog.
